Job Description

Net Zero India is seeking an experienced Fundraising Consultant to lead capital-raising efforts through equity, debt, and other financing mechanisms. This role is critical in securing financial resources to advance Net Zero India’s mission of driving sustainable and climate-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to raise funds through equity investments, debt financing, grants, and alternative funding sources.
• Identify and engage potential investors, financial institutions, venture capital firms, and impact investors.

2. Investor Relations & Deal Structuring

• Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and funding agencies.
• Structure funding proposals, term sheets, and investment agreements aligned with Net Zero India’s financial goals.

3. Financial Analysis & Due Diligence

• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis to support fundraising efforts.
• Prepare and present business cases, pitch decks, and investment memos to potential funders.

4. Debt Financing & Grants

• Explore loan options from banks, NBFCs, and international financial institutions.
• Identify and apply for grants, subsidies, and government-backed funding programs.

5. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and financial compliance requirements related to fundraising.
• Manage documentation, negotiations, and closure of funding deals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in raising funds through equity, debt, and other financial instruments.
• Strong network with investors, venture capitalists, financial institutions, and government funding bodies.
• Expertise in financial modeling, business valuation, and investment structuring.
• Prior experience in sustainable finance, renewable energy, or climate-tech sectors is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
