Piyush Mishra, Advisor - MoS, MSME, Government of India, has been instrumental in launching the NetZero India Foundation under the guidance of Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma. His strategic insight and commitment to sustainability form the foundation of our mission.
Born and educated in India, Piyush holds a rich background in policy planning, sustainable development, and governmental operations. These experiences have instilled in him a deep understanding of the intersection between governmental policies, industrial development, and environmental conservation.
Following the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the strategic guidance of Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Piyush started the NetZero India Foundation. The Foundation aims to stimulate policy innovation, promote sustainable market practices, develop clean energy solutions, and foster global partnerships to accelerate India's transition towards a carbon-neutral future.
As the advisor to the Minister of State for MSME, Piyush recognizes the pivotal role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in India's economy and their potential to contribute to the net-zero emissions target.
